A Mark of Legacy: Siwani Spirits is Officially Trademarked!

To our Siwani family,

I am beyond proud to share some incredible news - it's something that I've been working toward since launching the brand just over three years ago. The Siwani Spirits name, the logo, and the tagline, "Juice of the Golden Seed," are all now officially registered trademarks with the United States Patent and Trademark Office!

So, what does that little ® symbol actually mean?

On the surface, it’s a legal protection. But for us, it means so much more.

When I founded Siwani Spirits, I wasn't just creating a product; I was building on a foundation. A foundation laid by my great-great-grandmother, Emma Swann, who ran a legendary speakeasy, and my great-grandfather, who ran his own still. It’s a tribute to the sophistication my grandfather learned as a WWII vet who embraced cognac.

This trademark registration is a stake in the ground. It’s a promise that the brand you’ve come to love is, and will always be, authentic.

It’s a shield that protects our story. It guarantees that the bottle in your hand is the authentic Siwani experience—our commitment to quality, to "lowcountry soul meets northern glamour," and to celebrating Black excellence. In a crowded world, this mark makes us distinct. It protects our identity and ensures that our legacy cannot be diluted or imitated.

This is a major milestone for our brand, and it was only possible because of your support. You have helped us build this legacy, and now, we have officially cemented it.
